Shaping the Future of Care: Join Medly's Founding Practice Cohort

Before Medly opens to the wider provider network, we're inviting a small group of GP practices, urgent care clinics, and Telehealth providers to help us shape the product from the inside.

Founding Practice Cohort — 5 Places Available
We're selecting five practices to join Medly's founding pilot cohort in Auckland. Applications close once the cohort is full.
First, the honest part: Medly's care navigation isn't built yet. That's precisely what the founding cohort is for — we'd rather shape it inside five real clinics than ship the version we'd design on our own and ask you to live with it.
Imagine starting your morning to find that a booking is already confirmed, and the patient has been triaged. The patient's brief complaint is already documented, their symptoms, onset, and severity are listed. Your preferred language is noted. Their urgency has been assessed. After a quick clinical review, they've also confirmed the appointment time.
That's what we're building towards, and what the founding cohort will shape. Five Auckland-area practices will be the first in New Zealand to help work out what it should actually look like.
What founding practices receive
Founding practices are not simply pilot adopters. They're co-designers. During the pilot, your feedback directly shapes how Medly handles real clinical workflows. If something doesn't work for your practice, we iterate based on real experience.
In practical terms, founding practices receive:
- First access to care navigation as it's built, and a say in how it works
- A dedicated Medly contact for the duration of the pilot
- We'll agree together what's worth measuring, and share what we're seeing as we go
- Direct input into product development through monthly feedback sessions
- Co-design credit — your practice will be acknowledged as a founding partner in Medly's story
The practices in our founding cohort will have shaped Medly's product before anyone else can. That head start — in understanding how it works and who it reaches — is one that can't be replicated by later adopters.
What the pilot involves
We're not asking you to start an IT project. Tell us which practice management system you use and we'll confirm what's involved — that's one of the things the cohort is for. Here's what we have in mind:
One 30-minute setup call
A call to understand how your practice actually runs — appointment types, booking windows, who handles what — so we build around your setup rather than assuming one.
You help design how your team sees it
Where intake summaries need to appear, and who needs to see them, is something we want to get right with you rather than hand down. Whatever we build, it won’t need anything installed.
Medly handles patient navigation
The patient-facing side is ours to build and run — voice intake, and the reminders around it. We'll confirm exactly what's in place before your practice goes live. Your team's job stays clinical care.
Monthly check-ins during the pilot
A 20-minute call with your Medly contact each month to review what's working, address anything that isn't, and share what we're seeing so far.
Secure Your Practice's Spot
Don't miss the chance to put your practice at the forefront of digital health in New Zealand.
